Jennda Forte Academy offers programme for children between 3 months to 10years of age.

3 months- 1year (Crèche)
1 year – 2years (Toddler)
2 years – 3 years (Pre-Nursery)
3years – 4years (Nursery 1)
4years – 5years (Nursery 2)
5years-10years (Basic 1 – Basic 6)

 

• 3 months – 18 months (crèche/Toddler)
  A warm, loving and homely setting is provided where the children develop social skills as they interact with other children. The infant program provides an environment of constant wonder as we the staff participate in the transition of each child as they enter a new phase of their development. This directly prepares them for nursery. The children’s needs are met physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectual. These are achieved through the use of appropriate resources, songs, rhymes, books and specifically designed materials.
• 18months – 2 Years (Pre-Nursery)
  The Early nursery classroom offers very young children a unique year of self-development in a tender atmosphere of special understanding respect and support. The environment aids movement, language and communication, feeling and interacting with others. Low shelves are prepared with activities designed to meet the child’s interest. The children’s days are filled with love and encouragement, story reading, puzzles, construction, and art activities; scribbling, music and movement are part of our toddlers’ day. Their progress is individually tracked and goals for personal development planned by the staff.
• 3years – 4 years (Nursery 1 and 2)
  Here while there is much intellectual stimulation, our emphasis is always on nurture of each child’s uniqueness. Independence is encouraged and the children are given the opportunity to choose their choice of work in the different curriculum areas.
  Montessori materials are introduced to the children by encouraging respect and care for all things within the environment. Over a period of time the children develop into a “normalized community” working with high concentration and a few interruptions. Other activities such as singing, stories, music and movement are all encouraged. According to Maria Montessori, 
  “There is nothing in the Intellect which was not first in some way in the senses” and being explorers of the world, opens the way to Knowledge.
• 5years – 10 years
  At this stage, pupils are taught how to solve difficult tasks without any assistance and by relating topics that are taught with their immediate environment.
